This cannon is now completely customizable. Main Master Attribute = LAUNCH RATE. A minimum of 1 cannon stat point must be allocated to each of the 5 cannon attributes. From there it is up to you to devise a winning combination using 10 stat points to put where you choose. More stat points may be earned by completing Challenge Rounds later in the game. Also available, is a side shooting chain gun. The damage of each gun round is dependent upon the Warhead Damage of the cannon. The chain gun fire rate is dependent upon the Launch Rate of the cannon.

U.F.O.: If shot, the U.F.O. will % drop one of the 1-5 bonuses listed below. 25 points are awarded for shooting down the U.F.O. If your cannon has few weapon upgrades, there is a much larger chance the U.F.O. will drop a weapon upgrade Star Parachute Bonus. The detonation of the U.F.O. is large enough to destroy most foes on the screen. Important Note: U.F.O.s will stop appearing when the number of U.F.O.s is equal to your round number + 1.
Bonus 1 ( Time Warp ): If caught, this bonus will slow most enemy units and enemy ordnance for 12 seconds.
Bonus 2 ( Dual Laser Assist ): If caught, this bonus will activate two powerful lasers to assist you for 10 seconds. The dual lasers can make short work of The Brain Eyes, just make sure you stay clear of the Eye Ripple Attack while it is getting beamed.
Bonus 3 ( Cannon Timed Laser ): If caught, this bonus will enable your cannon to fire a powerful laser (in addition to your standard ordnance) for 8 seconds. For maximum damage, remember to keep firing your rockets while the laser is activated. This laser attack is ideal against the little Mechanical Arachnids. Timing is everything against them.
Bonus 4 ( Cannon Gun Upgrade ): If caught, this bonus will upgrade your cannon's weapon system up to a maximum of 4 upgrades. Your bread and butter - make sure to get your cannon upgraded. 10 points are awarded for catching it.
Bonus 5 ( Cannon Shock Bolt ): If caught, this bonus will enable your cannon to fire a powerful charged bolt of electricity. This bolt can clear the screen for you, buying you some precious seconds to breath. 10 points are awarded for catching it. If you can manage, try to be selective with this weapon - awesome to use against fast moving U.F.O.s that get past you.
Bonus 6 ( Cannon Armor Repair ): If caught, this bonus will fully repair your cannon's armor. This often underappreciated bonus can really save the day. Try to leave a few Eye Crystals bopping around for when you can use a good dose of armor healing. This bonus is the Behemothic's best friend.

When killed, this Space Penetrator will drop a crystal. This crystal does 4 damage and has 200 life points. Don't let this thing hit you! If destroyed, will drop a Wrench Bonus ( Bonus 6 ). Each Eye Ripple attack does 0.5 damage to the cannon. 50 points are awarded for each Eye killed.

When killed, this Space Penetrator will % chance drop Swarm Snot to impede cannon movement. The Swarm Snot does not do any damage, but it does slow the cannon to a miserably slow rate for 3 seconds. The Swarm Bomb does 1 point of damage. Each round completed will produce an additional Alien Arachnid to menace you. 5 points are awarded for each Swarm unit killed.
Thorn Swarm Egg:

This Space Penetrator Egg will hatch Thorn Swarm to harass the cannon. If the egg is destroyed, the incubating Thorn Swarm will also perish. Once hatched, the Thorn Swarm will descend on a web.

This Space Penetrator will not attack while descending to the ground and can be destroyed while descending. Don't let one fall on you!

Once on the ground, The Thorn Swarm will partially burrow and extend its defensive thorns. These thorny spikes will cause 2.5 damage and destroy the Thorn Swarm if the cannon comes in contact with them.
The Mechanized Swarm ( Alien 6-legged Mechanical Arachnid):

When killed, this Space Penetrator will % chance drop bonus items on far left and far right of ground. Choose wisely, for once one is picked the other will disappear. Also, similar to the U.F.O., the detonation of the Mechanical Arachnid has a 20% chance of destroying all other Swarm relatives on the screen. 15 points are awarded for each Mechanized Swarm unit killed. Important Note: Depending on the round number, the Mech Swarm will stop dropping goodies after a certain number of drops - the higher the round number, the more drops. Also, there is always a % chance of no drop.

This Space Penetrator Special Item is produced each time both Brain Eyes are destroyed. It will travel vertically indefinately - unless destroyed. If destroyed, the Crystal will produce a Cannon Repair Bonus (described above). Watch out, for the Crystal packs a massive punch if it collides with the cannon. Important Note: If you have the Bonus 3 ( Cannon Timed Laser, mentioned above ) activated, be sure to focus the beam onto one of these Crystals for a tremendous boost in firepower.

This Space Penetrator will drop Swarm to harass the cannon. Once hatched, the Swarm will behave just as all prior Swarm do. The Swarm Birth Pods can be destroyed - preventing any more of the protective Swarm to join the battle.
